Drought Preparedness in BC: Workshop Summary

The Water Planning Lab has compiled the ideas that emerged from the workshop in a short summary report The voting exercise revealed that the most pressing issues needing our collective attention are: 1. Data collection/sharing, 2. Program effectiveness, and 3. The social/equity impacts of water pricing. At the end of this post you can find a diagram that shows the several challenges and priorities that were mention during the workshop, this map identifies topics that were common across multiple working groups, as well as major sub-themes.

We hope that the workshop serves as a catalyst for future collaborations and we welcome additional project ideas. Finally, we would like to thank all the participants for helping make the event a success.
